“Hoffmann’s Got Talent” was held on Saturday, 15th October 2016

Hoffmann’s Got Talent got underway as planned on Saturday, 15^th October 2016 and what a fabulous evening of entertainment it was!  A variety of talented “Acts” took part in this competition under the watchful eyes of the four judges, all of whom were selected for their own knowledge and dedication to the world of the “Arts”.

The Line-up of Acts included Solo Singers, a Magician, a Steelband, a Comedian, a Gospel Singing Group, Musicians and fabulous Dancers (including Eliza Dey who worked at The Hub and who sang a wonderful song).

The event was hosted by Frances Pestano (Office Manager/Fundraising Co-ordinator at HFA) who described the event as “a huge success”.  She said that all participants entered the competition, not only to win, but to raise money for Sensory equipment for the Sensory Room at HFA’s newest Supported Living Unit in Stanmore.  Tickets were completely “sold out” so as you can imagine, the evening was abuzz with laughter and good spirited fun.  The Event Room was full to capacity.  Frances said that the worst moment of the Evening came when she had to announce the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Place winners as she felt that everyone who entered the competition, deserved; in one way or another, to win.
